America based Dr. Imran Ul Haq is a renowned Pakistani surgeon. Through untiring hard work and an excellent work ethic, Dr.Haq has become one of America's most qualified and respected surgeons. A graduate of Allama Iqbal medical college, Imran recieved his MBBS qualification from Punjab University,Lahore,Pakistan. He then went on to obtain the fellowship of the Royal College Of Surgeons,United Kingdom. Imran also completed his American qualifications in surgery including three fellowships , transplant surgery, Critical care and trauma surgery, and surgical research.He completed a full surgical residency in the United States including Chief Resident year . He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery.
He has also been awarded fellowships of the prestigious International College Of Surgeons, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh UK and the American College of Surgeons. He has also completed his training in advanced minimally invasive surgery.
He is on faculty at the Regional Medical Center and Elmer Hospital , South Jersey Healthcare, an affiliate of the Fox Chase Cancer center and a teaching institute . Dr Haq is also on faculty as Visiting Surgeon at the Shalamar Hospital Lahore - a premier teaching institute in his native, Lahore, Pakistan. Dr. Haq went to Pakistan in 2005 to help the victims of the devastating earthquake. During his stay in the mountains of Kashmir and Northwest Pakistan, he saw and treated over 4,000 patients and performed lifesaving operations. Dr. Haq has also been published in Peer Review International journals and has a passion for teaching.
He plans to promote medical education and health care in Pakistan and other developing countries,including special trauma centers and build bridges of friendship and understanding between the USA , Pakistan and all people across the globe through this noble profession of medicine .
